Students at Portland Christian School have an excellent educational opportunity – knowledge and wisdom revealed through Biblical truths, classroom instruction and implementation. The tuition paid by our families does not meet all of the operational needs of the school; therefore, other sources of funds are needed to help fill that gap. Two other sources of funds are (1) contributions and (2) fundraisers. We understand that some families may be able to give tax-deductible gifts in addition to their tuition, while others may not be in a position to do so. Those families who choose not to make a gift are asked to participate in fundraisers hosted by the school to contribute toward filling the financial gap.
Portland Christian School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admissions procedures, or other school-administered programs.

Portland Christian School offers an aggressive Tuition Assistance program to any family who wishes to apply. The program is made possible through the generous donations of others who share the common goal of providing a Christian learning environment to as many students as possible.
Each year the PCS board will determine the funding of the tuition assistance program that is available based on donations received. Once the available financial aid funds are accepted a waiting list will be maintained for any new financial aid money that may become available.
Tuition assistance awards are provided for families with a demonstrated financial need as determined by FACTS Grant and Aid, an independent third-party provider. FACTS assessment process is a confidential and objective process to determine financial need based on information provided directly by parents. All tuition assistance awards are based on financial need only and are not determined by academic or athletic achievement.
*** Note that tuition assistance is not available for Portland Christian Preschool.
The FACTS application will consist of different sections with questions under each section. Also, you will be asked to upload copies of your federal tax return and all related schedules to that return, as well as wage statements (W2s, 1099s) for the tax year ending 12/31/2023 (tax returns are required).
If you wish to apply for tuition assistance you can complete an online application at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid. FACTS charges a $40 fee for each family application submitted.
***IMPORTANT NOTE***
