At PCS, we understand the vital role that parents and caregivers play in a child's development. Our mission is to partner with you in this journey, offering a comprehensive educational program that complements the values and principles you instill at home. Through our collaborative approach, we strive to create a seamless and supportive environment that nurtures both academic excellence and moral integrity. By working together, we can provide your child with a consistent and holistic education, ensuring they grow into well-rounded individuals ready to face life's challenges with confidence and faith.
Greetings Parents!
Welcome to the Portland Christian Upper School family. Thank you for trusting us with your child’s educational development. We see this as a privilege and a great responsibility, one we feel God has called us to do. We look forward to developing a partnership with you throughout the year to help point your child to a Christ-centered life.
We are committed to loving, discipling, and praying for your children. We will strive to educate them with excellence and lead them into developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We will teach them to serve and be responsible citizens for our school, community, and world. We will strive to model and train effective communicators that are committed to following God’s call for their lives.
Above all, our goal is to teach children to pursue our Lord and Savior and to glorify Him in all we do. We firmly believe in Proverbs 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” We strive not only to instill Christ-like character in our students, but also to train them how to apply God’s Living Word to their daily lives.
